Who we are
Serving Atlanta’s commercial real estate community since 2000.
JWB Realty Services, LLC was founded in March 2000 to offer real estate services to clients in nearly every aspect of commercial real estate ownership and leasing. With six professionals on staff, we’re able to be involved at every level of our clients’ needs. We offer high-quality service and the knowledge to bring in outside resources whenever a client’s needs require it.
Our services include management of commercial real estate on behalf of the landlord, landlord leasing representation, tenant leasing representation, sale of investment properties, land sales and select development services.
Milestones
Five decades in the making
Early 1970s
Bill serves roughly three years as zoning administrator for DeKalb County.
1974
Enters the commercial real estate industry.
1976
Joins AFCO Realty in brokerage and property management.
1981
Becomes president of AFCO Realty, leading it for nineteen years.
2000
Founds JWB Realty Services, LLC in March.
2002
Serves as president of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors.

Our founder
A career built on taking care of clients
The founder of our company is J. William Butler, who serves as president. After working approximately three years as zoning administrator for DeKalb County, Bill Butler, as he is known in the real estate community, entered the commercial real estate industry in 1974.
He moved into the brokerage and property management business in 1976 by joining AFCO Realty, where he stayed until March 2000. He served his last nineteen years there as president, overseeing daily operations while remaining active on the transaction side of the business.
Bill has represented many institutions, corporations and industries, and has acted as a consultant to several large owners of real estate, including city governments.
His philosophy of taking care of his clients remains his principal tenet of business, along with giving back to the real estate community through the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, which he served as president in 2002, and the Atlanta Board of Realtors Education Foundation, where he is Trustee Emeritus.
