founder of the company is J. William Butler who currently serves as president.
Bill Butler, as he is known in the real estate community, has worked in the real
estate business since 1974. After working approximately three years as zoning
administrator for Dekalb County, he entered the commercial real estate industry
in 1974. Bill moved into the brokerage and property management business in 1976
by joining AFCO Realty and staying with AFCO Realty until March 2000. He served
the last ten years as president of the company, overseeing the daily operations
as well as being active in the deal transaction side of the business. Bill
Butler has represented many institutions, corporations, and industries as well
as acting as a consultant to several large owners of real estate including city
governments. His philosophy of taking care of his clients remains his principle
tenant of business as well as giving back to the real estate community through
the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, for which he served as its president
in 2002 and the Atlanta Board of Realtors Education Foundation, for which he serves
